I’m trying to lower my energy bill/live off the grid. I have batteries and solar panels and now I’m trying to accessorize them with windmills so at night they can charge as well, since I can run most stuff on my RV batteries using inverters. This windmill is WAY bigger then I thought it was going to be, it’s HUGE!! I need some help to set up a pole for this first one (I plan on getting 3 more of them), and probably the rest of them too. The wiring seems pretty straight forward and the shipping was great, it got here WAY faster then I was told at first by Amazon. I haven’t hooked this first windmill up yet, I can’t wait to have it up and running, but it’s going to take another week or two, I need some help as I said, so I can’t say how it works yet. Once it’s up and running I’ll leave another review, I’m sure it’ll be a GREAT one! This thing is super high tech and very affordable. The future is looking very good indeed! (as long as my RV batteries hold up!) 🙂

We ordered this turbine to power a small/medium fountain with water and lights. (We already have solar panels, but the lights combined with the motor for the water pump constantly drained the batteries). We figured we could use both the wind and the sun and power both with no problem. The item was easy to build, though a bit bigger than we expected (the measurements are correct, I guess I just visualized it to look smaller, not the sellers fault). It looks exactly like the picture, is the size indicated in the description, however, the wind has to blow a lot harder than what is listed in order for the turbine to turn. We had wind speeds of 10-12, and it will turn sporadically but not steady enough to power anything so far.

the blades of the wind generator are not big enough to put in much air. l am making additions to them so they can work.
