This is a good tent and a great add on to my ez-up, I would recommend and purchase again. The side wall fabric is much lighter than the canopy fabric but heavier than most other tents I have owned. The tent packs down to a medium size duffle, but with the ez-up these will take up a lot of automobile trunk space. The finishing of the tent is perfect and the door/window design is excellent. Great placement of interior gear loops and pockets. As answered in the FAQ’s, the unit held up in a heavy wind storm with staking and guy lining. At night with the interior light on, the tent had a very cool blue glow. Two issues of note, the tent ceiling is flat and on one of the evenings a significant amount of condensation pooled on the roof though none leaked into tent. In a extremely damp situation this might be a problem if left unattended. Another issue that I emailed EZ-UP about is the stake/spikes supplied have upper flanges that when pounded through the tent floor grommets are very difficult to get out.

Holy cow!My family has car-camped with this kind of tent for almost ten years. I love this because it’s quick to set up, there’s plenty of room, and an adult can stand up straight. BE AWARE, that this item is only the TENT. A straight-leg awning is also required, and must be purchased separately. This tent insert is made from heavier materials than the one I’ve used for years, is assembled with attention to detail, and uses very good fasteners, zippers, and hooks. The hooks fit the square tubing used in E-Z Up straight-leg awnings with precision, and seem to be very durable (time will tell). Where the precision hooks aren’t used, heavy-duty hook-n-loop faster (Velcro) is used. The zippers work well, and don’t jam when the tent is stretched between the legs of the awning. The doggy door and the extension – cord portals definitely strike me as high-end accessories, but if you have a dog or have ever camped on a site with electricity, you can pretty quickly appreciate those touches.I’m very impressed. Even at this price level, I didn’t expect the kind of quality that I discovered when we used this.

Best $200 I ever spent. My car camping grip is complete. I use a Shelterlogic 10×20 and this integrates seamlessly with half of the canopy leaving the other avail for a astroturf lawn and its my porch. The construction is rugged and the design is well thought out. Plenty of loop points for creating hanging walls or gear nets. It literally takes 10 minutes to set up the canopy and tent start to finish.I love being able to stand upright with room to spare. I can fit a queen air matress with about 2.5 feet of walkway around it. I add side tables and bought a small cheap rug from Home Depot.Added bonus, because the Cube is spearate from the canopy, the canopy creates an attic which helps with air flow and cooling. Add canopy walls and you have a fully enclosed water resistant living space.
