Take camp cooking to the next level with the Coleman Triton Propane Stove. Just light it up and dial in your heat with the two independently adjustable burners and you can be cooking over 22,000 BTUs of power in no time. The cooking surface offers plenty of room to fit a 12-in. and 10-in. pan…

It works. Unlike many other reviewers, I find the “perfectflow” valves to work well. We never had any problems getting a low, high, or in-between flame from ours. I find the wind deflectors that fold from the back to be an awkward design. You have to open the lid very far back to get them open, which is a problem if there’s not a lot of space around. I also find mounting the tank on the side often puts it in the way, and unlike others, there does not seem to be a flexible hose attachment available. There is a hole for inserting the regulator inside the stove when not in use, but no cli[ to hold it in place so it just bounces around all crazy and noisy. A handle would be nice, too. I find the thin stamped metal parts flimsy and cheap. This stove is nowhere near the quality of the Coleman one’s we used in Boy Scouts when I was growing up. So it goes, I guess. Overall, for as flimsy as it is, it works. Why then, with all my complaints, do I give it 5 stars? Read on…So we used it all weekend for about once or twice a month since purchase in September ’16. February of ’18 I go to screw the regulator on like usual and hear a ‘snap’ inside. I am unable to screw the regulator on, rendering the stove useless. I was mad because I figured it was just past the warranty and I would have to buy a next one. Well, I emailed and called Coleman. They had me send in some pics, receipt, etc. by email, and within two days they had a new one shipped out. Tracking number and everything. They made things right, so how can I be mad?

Got this stove over the summer for camping and fishing trips and it’s been fantastic. Overall it’s fairly lightweight, seems well constructed (I did read other reviews where the construction was an issue, this has not been the case for me) and cleans up very easily.I’ve already had multiple occasions to use it and it hasn’t disappointed yet. It can be used on the gate of the truck or a table at a campground or where ever it can be safely deployed. The burners are wide enough for standard sized pots though I suppose if you were using a larger pot, you could potentially turn on both burners and center your big pot for some extra coverage. You can adjust your flame on each burner but not much. The Coleman propane packs are pretty easy to find so you always have some to power you stove. All in all it’s a solid purchase for us and I hope to have and use it for a long time to come.

The heat adjustment dials on the front fell off during first use. I found that the burners burned way too hot for use in normal (non-windy) weather conditions; it was difficult to get the heat level adjusted low enough to cook bacon and eggs without burning them. The rack is very loose and moves around.
