I bought this this for our NYE Camping trip at Fisheating Creek Florida, much to my husband’s dismay. I also ordered the carrying case for it and that made transporting it really easy. We were a party of 14. Thanks to this stove, not only did we eat well, we ate better than at home. Setting it up on the legs happened in less than a minute but I believe you can also just set it on a tabletop. This is obviously not a stove I would take were it just my myself , my husband and our two girls or if it were a really back country primitive site that required hiking or canoeing to…but for group camping I will never use anything else. New Years we had ribs, I spiralized potatoes at camp and fried them in peanut oil on this thing, made hot chocolate, stir fry, used a griddle to make egg and bacon sandwiches, tons of chocolate chip and lemon blueberry pancakes, coffee…you name it we ate it. This was an excellent buy and made the whole experience much easier. I do not miss the days of trying to cook for a group on a two burner little Coleman stove. NEVER AGAIN. I didn’t use the wind guard that way I could cook on one side and other people could use the third burner standing on the opposite side so we weren’t in each other’s way. The flame is strong enough you really don’t need it. I love this thing enough I want it set up in my backyard year round! Only complaint was the box came banged up and with holes. One of the stoves parts was actually sticking out. Personally, I don’t care much for aesthetics so a ding and scrape didn’t bother me, but I can understand when paying this kind of money you want your new stove to look new. Hope my review helps!

Years ago I purchased a Camp Chef Denali 3 burner stove from Costco and use it on average 3-4 times a week as living in the Phoenix area I do a lot of summer time cooking outside. A few months back I purchased the Camp Chef Italia Artisan Pizza Oven (highly recommended…) . I have now found myself using the pizza oven quite often also, to the point of wanting to leave it set up full time. The draw-back there is that the pizza oven takes up two burners and can be a pain to move that often. For the price and knowing that the Tahoe is in the Camp Chef 16″ family it seemed to be the best solution. Glad I made this purchase. As with all Camp Chef product I’ve purchased, this unit is well built and has, so far, performed perfectly. I would recommend this stove.

I bought and used this for canning my tomatoes and making salsa. I was concerned that my kitchen electric flat top was taking a beating so after some research I decided to use gas. The 3 burners worked perfectly! One for the salsa, one for canning and one to keep the lids warm. I set it up in my shop so I had plenty of ventilation. Canning with a flame is so much easier than with an electric burner. I went through one 25lb bottle of propane and a part of another for 60 pints of salsa and 8 quarts of tomatoes. This stove was easy to set up and is very sturdy. I would highly recommend this stove.
