My only complaint with these is that they arrive very stiff and will need to go through a break-in period in order to loosen up and be comfortable to wear. The whistle is loud, the compass works and the fire starters are there. If you don’t mind wearing these around during your daily every day life in order to loosen them up so that they are more comfortable then I highly recommend them.Another thing is I am 5’10” and weigh around 165 and I had to tighten these to their smallest size in order to get them to fit relatively well but it is still loose. If you are smaller than me or a woman these may just slide right off you even at the smallest setting. If you’re a big guy you should have no trouble with them.

Not bad and certainly cheap. Important note for usage is that the compass doesn’t work when you have it on your wrist connected because it’s too close to the “blade” and that metal throws off the compass. The compass does work when it’s not near the blade.Blade is pretty much a joke but still might be useful in some situations. Comes with no instructions so it’s not clear how you use the paracord if you need it. Hopefully I’ll figure that out.Not super comfortable to wear every day but if you’re going on a hike or other situation it might be worthwhile.

You get what you pay for. Striker and flint is surprisingly effective, as is the decible level of the whistle. The band is quite large, so if have small wrists it may be too large even sinched up all the way. Be aware, the compass is fairly accurate (you weren’t really expecting precision were you?). however, be aware that it will give amomolous readings if you dont take the bracelet off before checking your heading. The striker is magnetized and with it on your wrist will affect the compass. Took me a bit to figure out why it was continually wrong. Overall though a fun and useful little thing to have on your wrist.
